The Garden Room

Enjoy this cozy room located on the second floor of the main house with lovely views of the garden and landscape below. This room also boasts an electric fireplace, an antique armoire, and two occasional chairs for reading or relaxation. A rollaway bed can be added, making it suitable for a small group of two or three.

The Magnolia Room

Discover the expansive charm of this room, which is the largest on the second floor. Enjoy breathtaking bay views along with a magnificent perspective of the magnolia tree that inspired the room’s name. Relax by the electric fireplace or gather around the spacious sitting table. Two comfortable chairs and a convenient chest of drawers are provided, perfect for extended stays. With the option to add a rollaway bed, this room is ideal for a small group of two or three seeking comfort and tranquility.

The Sunrise Room

The Sunrise Room is a cheerfully painted yellow room located on the second floor. Not only does it offer breathtaking views of the sky and the bay, but it is the only room in the house with an ocean view from the soaking tub! It’s the perfect room to relax and unwind while enjoying the peaceful waves.

First Floor Suite

Enjoy your own space with a private entrance and drive up parking on the first floor of the main house. Keep your clothes organized in the antique dresser located in the sitting room. The first floor suite is isolated from the other rooms in the house, making it ideal for guests with young children or pets. If you have more than two people in your party, the sitting room can be transformed into a second bedroom with up to two rollaway beds, making it great for a stay of up to four guests.

Third Floor Suite

The third floor suite is extremely spacious, with views in all four directions from the cozy window seats in the dormers. Experience an extra dose of relaxation with the champagne massage tub for little bubbles in your bath. With two plush chairs, a large, extendable table with four chairs, and window seating throughout, you’ll have plenty of space for relaxing and fun! For added convenience, an extra sink is located just outside the bathroom. The spiral staircase leading to the widow’s walk-on roof makes this room extra special. You can enjoy your evenings and mornings with coffee or a glass of wine while you find your own peace and serenity overlooking the bay. This room has a single and king-sized bed and can accommodate up to three rollaway beds, allowing for up to six guests. However, it is most comfortable with four guests, making it an ideal space for small groups.

The Seabreeze Suite

The Seabreeze Suite is wheelchair accessible and has two rooms. The first room has a king-size bed and attached bath and roll-in shower. The other has a large library and day bed that pulls into a double bed. Enjoy a large patio overlooking Matagorda Bay and walking access to East Bay Park, public fishing piers, and a walking trail.

Please note that this suite does not include breakfast. However, you can purchase breakfast separately for $10 per person. Breakfast is served in the Main House dining room from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

The Galley Suite

The Galley Suite is the other suite in the Sassy Seagull Cottage. It offers a fully furnished kitchen, living and dining area, and a washer and dryer. The bedroom has an attached half bathroom with an additional bathroom and shower off the laundry room. Enjoy the patio overlooking Tres Palacios Bay (just off Matagorda Bay). The suite is also within walking distance of the public park, seaside walking trail, and public fishing piers.
